Journalistic Pursuits
Cathedral News
I am the co-editor of Cathedral News, a quarterly published student-run newspaper of my school, The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai.
I was also the co-editor of the Encore Magazine, an annual feature published in conjunction with a student-run musical festival in school.

I published an article, "The Great Omission: Why Indians Don't Talk About Africa?" in the Fair Observer, an independent non-profit media outlet that provides analysis and opinion on world news.

My article reflects on the negative (and often lack of) representation of Africa in the Indian media and explores the plausible causes of this, and its effects on the perception of stereotypes.
CMUN Press
I served as the Moderator at the International Press Corps (IPC) at the Cathedral Model United Nations, one of the largest student-run conferences in India, in 2023.
I moderated committee sessions of the IPC, planned crises to propel committee sessions forward, and compiled the third newsletter of the conference, which covered events from every committee.

School of The New York Times
I attended a two-week residential Summer Academy program at the School of The New York Times in New York city in the summer of 2022.

Completed an introductory journalism course, "Writing the Big City: Reporting in New York" that gave me exposure to different facets of writing a story - interviewing, news judgement, pitching to editors, and fact checking.

I wrote an article, “Social Media Aids Self-Expression. Or Does It?”, where I argue that today’s digital age is breeding a generation of non-thinkers who conform to easily available opinions of others via the internet.
